Prosperity Gospel is Satan’s doctrine
Prosperity gospel, which is widely proclaimed in the mass media all over the world, is Satan’s doctrine. We are told by God in His Word not to love the world. Compare the verses in Genesis with the verses in 1 John. Notice the similarities?
Gen 3:6 “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. “
1Jn 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Prosperity gospel basically says that if you are a follower of Christ, you will have prosperity, which is usually taken to mean, a lot of wealth and happiness, instead of poverty and persecution. Some people who believe in the prosperity gospel think that if you are rich, then this means that God is rewarding you for obeying Him. Another popular belief is that if you give to the church, then you will be rewarded with wealth (this assumes that blessings from God are mainly material, and that God will not bless Christians with persecution and suffering in order to strengthen their faith).
Do not be deceived by televangelists on TV. The video below illustrates the Biblical approach to giving:

Sometimes I do wonder about it myself, because many people figure God wants them to prosper at ALL cost, sometimes even at the expense of their souls.
I went to a meeting that I was invited to in a friend’s house, and there was a man there who said that we were gods.
I told him that this was blasphemy, and he said that scripture supports this in John 10 and Psalm 82. Can you comment on these two. Thank you.
Thank you for your question. Believing we can be God is Satanic, as it is Satan who lied to us by saying we could become God. The following link explains these verses well, and in their correct context:
http://www.gotquestions.org/you-are-gods.html
The word used as “god” is “elohim”. This is the same word used for God in Genesis 1:1, but in this case, the translators did not capitalize the word. The reason is that the word elohim also has different meanings (see the Hebrew dictionary in Strong’s Concordance, where elohim (Strong’s number 0430) has the following meanings:
1) (plural)
a) rulers, judges
b) divine ones
c) angels
d) gods
2) (plural intensive – singular meaning)
a) god, goddess
b) godlike one
c) works or special possessions of God
d) the (true) God
e) God
So you see, you need to get the context by reading the entire chapter, and then determining the correct usage from the list above (and this is explained well in the link I gave you). Of course, we also pray before studying the Bible so that the Holy Spirit will guide us to the truth.
We are not God, but if we accept Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we become the adopted sons and daughters of God, because of what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, did: paid for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead, so that those that believe in what Jesus Christ did and repent of their sins we can be reconciled to God.
John 1:11-13 “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
Rom 8:15 “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”
There are other verses that people use to claim that we are God, and I blogged about this (see link to blog below), mainly because my Dad told me over dinner recently that he is god (I know that sounds really funny, but he was dead serious!):

I hope that helped you!

She’s kind of hot. I’d give to a ministry to get something from her, if you know what I mean.
She is already married. You can check out her YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/TicTocMinistries

how can one be rich within one or two months
Luke 12:22-34 (The Message paraphrase; Jesus speaking to His followers):
He continued this subject with His disciples. “Don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or if the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your inner life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the ravens, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, carefree in the care of God. And you count far more.
Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can’t even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don’t you think He’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do His best for you?
What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way He works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how He works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don’t be afraid of missing out. You’re My dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.
Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bankrobbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.”
God bless,
George
